This is a great tale of rivalry because Yao Ming watched his Shanghai Sharks claim a third straight win in CBA on Wednesday night. His side had to come from behind in this one though to beat his old rival Wang Zhizhi's Bayi Rockets 119-114 in overtime.

Long standing CBA rivals, national teammates and NBA rivals, Yao and Wang are the icons of Chinese basketball. Yao was not on court for this one and watched Wang play against his team. Wang struggled in the first half scoring just four points. But, his teammates shined as Bayi trailed by just two points at the break.

In the final quarter, Wang regained his form and was unstoppable from the arc. His three from the right wing with 22 second remaining in regular time gave Bayi a crucial lead. He finished with a game-high 26 points. But, Liu Wei answered for Shanghai immediately from downtown and forced the game into overtime.

Wang was unable to carry his team again contributing just two points in the overtime while Shanghai finished its comeback at home.
