November 25th marks the 10th International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

The All China Women's Federation and the UN Development Fund for Women have launched a joint program to prevent and respond to domestic violence in China through various approaches. One important way is the promotion of male involvement in wiping out violence against the opposite sex. The aim of the program is to increase the number of Chinese women who can enjoy their right to a life free from domestic violence.
