Visiting Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao also met with Arab League Secretary General Amr Musa in Cairo.

Wen Jiabao expressed China's willingness to enhance China-Arab friendly cooperation. He told Musa that China seeks to pool efforts with the Arab League to develop the China-Arab Cooperation Forum into a more effective platform.

Musa expressed his gratitude for China's support of Arab causes. And, he reiterated the League's respect for China's territorial integrity.

He hoped that the Arab League would cooperate with China across all fields to promote the Arab-China Cooperation Forum, world peace, and regional stability and development.
