Russian soldiers have marked the 68th anniversary of a legendary military parade with a re-enactment on Red Square.
Red Army soldiers marched through Moscow's Red Square on November 7, 1941, despite the approach of Nazi forces on the outskirts of the city. It helped cement Soviet resistance at the critical moment.
Russian soldiers in World War II-era Soviet uniforms and other historical military costumes marched through Moscow's Red Square.
They were accompanied by two famed T-34 tanks. About four thousand young Muscovites also participated, along with some 45 veterans of the 1941 parade.
