Beijing will launch a massive vaccination against the seasonal flu to lower the risk of a combined spread of the common flu and A/H1N1.
Citizens 60 or older and students in elementary and middle schools will enjoy free vaccination. The Municipal Health Bureau set up more than four hundred flu vaccination clinics across Beijing. They will provide services from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. everyday. Autumn and winter are typically notorious seasons for spreading the flu in northern China. The vaccination is believed to be the best preventive measure. The campaign will start Thursday and last till the end of October.
