Fighting between government forces and rebels continued in the Gulf state of Yemen. More than 100 rebels were killed on Sunday, including two Shi'ite Muslim leaders. A government statement says 100 bodies identified as Houthi rebels have been found.
The two leaders who died are Mohsen Al-Qaoud and Saleh Jarman, adherents of the Zaydi branch of Shi'ite Islam, a strongly tribal minority in mostly Sunni Muslim Yemen.
Yemen has been battling al-Qaeda militants and secessionist discontent in the south, as well as a rebellion in the mountainous north bordering Saudi Arabia.
