A suicide bomber has blown up a truck at a police station in the Russian republic of Ingushetia. 20 people were killed and about 60 others wounded.
President Dmitry Medvedev has sacked the republic's interior minister.
Officials say the attacker rammed the gates of the local police headquarters in the city of Nazran, located in Ingushetia.
He then detonated at least 20 kilograms of explosives as officers lined up for a morning check.
Police fired shots at the truck, but failed to stop its advance. The building was still on fire hours after the blast. A nearby apartment dwelling and several office complexes were also damaged.
