The 12th Harbin International Auto Show opened to the public on Tuesday in the capital city of China's northern Heilongjiang province. August is usually the low season for auto sales. But the event highlights China's booming market for both auto companies and buyers.

More than five hundred auto makers are displaying over six hundred vehicles. And they are also offering various promotional discounts and preferential payment methods. Visitors are taking the chance to select their favorite models. In only one day,both overseas and domestic auto makers received many orders. Many exhibitors say it is not out of expectation.
