Life for most people in Urumqi is returning to normal. In other parts of the Autonomous Region, the daily routine was not been seriously affected by the July 5th riot.

The post office in Urumqi is sending additional postmen to make sure offers from Universities around the country are promptly delivered to hopeful students.
