All spectacle aside, when the girls stepped onto the court, they just concentrated on playing volleyball.

Because they are young and relatively inexperienced, their regular training will now focus on physical strength and fundamental skills.

The team is making headlines not only because of their appearances, but also China's hopes for another round of success in women's volleyball.

The girls will make their debut at the Four Nations Tournament at the end of May.
