The Hong Kong Music Fair -- a major part of the Hong Kong Entertainment Exposition -- gets underway in the Special Administrative Region, on Thursday.

The Hong Kong Music Fair is being held for the fourth time. This year, it is bringing together more than 60 record companies, new media content providers, and music websites from the Chinese mainland and overseas.

The Hong Kong S.A.R. government, a major sponsor of the music fair... hopes the event will help generate business opportunities for local small and medium-sized enterprises.

This year's the music fair will also play host to the Hong Kong Digital Music Awards Ceremony, honoring the most popular online music works.
