This is the eighth year since the illumination campaign was first held in China. In Beijing's famous Qianmen Street, a ball was illuminated, and all the nearby buildings glowed in pink, a tender warm color that reminds people - and especially women - to take care of themselves. The Pink Ribbon Campaign was first launched in 1992 in the United States and quickly spread around the world. It aims to help more people prevent and cure breast cancer by raising funds and promoting related research.
Breast cancer is one of the biggest threats to women's health. More and more people are dedicating themselves to the prevention and treatment of this disease. The pink light represents people's hope to see a world without breast cancer.
