There is a model of the Forth, the world's first major steel bridge, completed in 1890. Its creator says his wife was bored of watching him build model trains.
Warren Elsmore, Model Enthusiast, said, "So I built another train and my wife suggested I build the Forth Bridge because we live in Edinburgh and it would be a good local landmark to build. So I started and it turned out a little bigger than I thought it would be."
The event is organized by the Brickish Association. Member Martin Long says it's a group of people who simply enjoy making things with toy bricks.
Martin Long, Show Organizer, said, "We love it as a toy. Most of us had it when we were younger, and some of us grew out of it, came back again, some of us have just carried on building from childhood really."
Thousands of people flock to the museum, many of them are model enthusiasts.
But others come to revisit their childhoods and marvel how the little toy bricks they played with as youngsters can be transformed into extraordinary feats of engineering.
