In the year she prepared for her college entrance examinations, Han Xue still found time to shoot a movie and a TV drama. And she also did a good job in the college exams, entering the Shanghai Drama Academy with high scores.
Han Xue has appeared in a number of movies and TV productions. She has played opposite such big names as Liu Xiaoqing. And it wasn't long before her singing talent was recognized and she was signed by the same record company as R&B singer Jay Chau.
The entertainer's job is not an easy one. In "Pig God Under the Lucky Star", Han Xue played a fairy and often had to fly on steel wire. She had some nasty and painful accidents.
While making the action TV drama, "The Country and The Beauty", she had to drive a horse-drawn coach through a busy street. When the horse ran wild, she was completely helpless and clutched onto the coach desperately.
Of all the roles she has played, Han Xue is fondest of the character of country girl Chen Xiangnan, in the TV drama "A Lifetime of Misplaced Love". At first, her business manager advised her against taking the role, because the character is more or less morally compromised. However, Han Xue fell in love with the complex psychology of the country girl and insisted on taking the part.
