The premiere of the Coen brother's dark comedy "Burn After Reading" opened the 65th Venice Film Festival, August 27th.The festival runs until September 7th, with 21 films competing for the coveted Golden Lion Award.

It's the world's oldest film festival, founded by Count Giuseppe Volpi di Misurata in 1932. A huge golden Lion stands watch, over the old film palace where 21 films from around the world will compete for the "Golden Lion Award".
