Beijing's international airport has upgraded many of its facilities to meet international standards for the Paralympic delegations from around the world.
More than 10,000 Paralympic members from 148 countries and regions are expected to arrive and depart from the Beijing Capital International Airport during the Paralympic Games. They include nearly 1,800 people in wheelchairs and 800 vision-impaired athletes.
The airport has launched convenient and fast channels for all Paralympic passengers. For example, wheelchairs are unloaded and delivered to them for use within the shortest time possible.
