As we look at the glory of Greece, in the afterglow of the Beijing Olympics, the host City for the 2012 Olympics Games, London is holding a retrospective street exhibition hearkening back to the last time the Games were staged in the U.K. Capital.

That was in 1948, the first Olympiad following the Second World War. The street festival set out to recreate the era in the Borough of Hackney.
