Ding Anhui thus embarked on a professional career as a jade carver. He began as an apprentice, progressed to artisan and continued forward to become the established artist he is today.

Over his career, Ding has produced over a thousand works. They are in various motifs and styles. And like the classic forms of Chinese jade and sculpted works, each one of Ding's works carries a message.
