At the 2008 Olympics, Cao Feng won't be alone. He'll be joined by his hometown, Hong Kong. The city will host the three Equestrian events during the Beijing Games: dressage, jumping and eventing.
Along with other Hong Kong residents, Cao Feng will be promoting his city's role in the summer Olympics.
At a Hong Kong-themed carnival at Tsinghua University, Cao was a quiz master, asking questions about Hong Kong and giving out prizes for every right answer.
There were also a variety of games where participants could win coupons for Hong Kong-style snack food.
Mainland-based HK students said, "Hong Kong is more internationalized than the mainland. It will do a good job in sending the world the message that China can stage a successful Olympics. For the Games, Hong Kong will host the Equestrian Events, and we will promote it. There are a lot of Olympic volunteers back in Hongkong. And we want to do our part to help a little. Our festival at Tsinghua is held with Olympic theme. We support the Beijing Games and we are glad to play a part to help our country stage a successful Olympics."
This is the spirit shared by Hong Kong youths like Cao Feng at Tsinghua university.
And he said he will write down all his most memorable moments during the Games themselves, and help to share China's Olympics with the rest of the world.
