China International Travel Service Limited Head Office has announced the establishment of a regional headquarters in East China.

This indicates that the company has formally started its structural development strategy of "one head office, three business centers, and three regional headquarters".

As one of CITS' three regional headquarters, the east China headquarters will be a business unit with responsibility for income, and CITS plans to budget CNY40 million for the headquarters to set up and invest in subsidiaries in the east China region. The headquarters for east China will have a board which will make decisions on operational plans, investment schemes, structure assignment, financial budgets, and profit appropriation.

The new headquarters will focus on the business development of inbound tours, outbound tours, and the MICE sector around the east China region including Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Anhui, and Fujian. It will be the CITS' center of product research and development, purchasing, marketing, operations, and investment management.

The establishment of the East China headquarters will be a model for building the regional headquarters in South China and North China.
