Jin Jiang International Holdings has announced that its budget hotel brand Jinjiang Inn aims to reach a total of 600 outlets over the next two years, focusing on the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta, and the Jing-Jin Bohai Bay regions.
Currently, the company has 25 outlets in Beijing, with another two scheduled to be opened before the Olympic Games, making total number of outlets in the city 11 more than at the beginning of this year.
As of the end of June, Jinjiang Inn had 267 budget chain hotels with a total of over 30,000 guestrooms throughout 60 first and second tier cities around China including Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Beijing, Tianjin, and Shandong. To enable this, Jinjiang Inn has established eight major regional companies including ones in East China, Central China, and North China.
At present, Jinjiang Inn expands its portfolio in three ways: by acquisition, leasing, and franchising.
