A Taiwan Orchestra will perform at the World Expo next week to help celebrate the traditional Chinese festival, Mid-Autumn Day which falls on Wednesday.
The Evergreen Symphony Orchestra will play a series of Taiwan folk songs and ballads, including classics from the late Teresa Teng, who won immense popularity in the 1980s and 90s across East Asia.
Western Classics like Bernstein's West Side Story overture and Grieg's Peer Suite will also be performed.
The Orchestra was founded in 2001 and began touring overseas in 2004. It has played with the "Three Tenors."
The orchestra will take to the stage at the Expo Thursday and Saturday.
