Another impressed visitor is Taavi Niinimaa, who was originally from Estonia, but he has lived in Finland for 10 years. He thought the visual effects of the exhibitions were brilliant, especially the Estonian pavilion.

"It is a colorful spot next to the white Scandinavian pavilions, and I believe the color scheme attracts visitors. Estonia is a small country and their budget for the Expo is limited, but they did their best, and they even arranged karaoke-singing, which seems to be a big hit among Chinese visitors," he observed.

Niinimaa agreed with Koivula about the Finnish pavilion, which is his favorite.

"It's simply beautiful inside and out," he said. "They wanted to emphasize their Nordic and Finnish lifestyle, and they did it well."

Niinimaa appreciated the Expo's emphasis and ideas on environmental protection.

"We have to do a lot of things to solve the environmental problems and challenges which were brought by urbanization, and these exhibitions successfully adhere to the theme 'Better City, Better Life' with electrical vehicles, waste-water treatment systems, and so many good concepts," he said.

As Shanghai transitions from spring to summer, it's a safe bet that the millions of expected visitors won't have to look hard to find some inspiration and beauty within the over five kilometers of the Expo.
