If you are a stamp collector, a gold lover, or a World Expo enthusiast, now there is a rare chance to expand and upgrade your collection. A set of pure gold 2010 World Expo stamps was issued in Shanghai on Sunday.
The five stamps are made of 50 grams of gold. They portray the permanent buildings of Expo Park, which include Expo Axis, China Pavilion, Expo Center, Expo Performance Center, and the Theme Pavilion.
A stamp album, featuring the Shanghai Expo emblem, mascot Haibao, and the pavilions of other participating countries have also been issued. Each of the 10-thousand sell for 2,850 US Dollars. 30-thousand sets of silver stamps were also issued. You can snatch up one of those for a bargain at 126 Dollars.
