Sunday marked the National Pavilion Day of Bosnia Herzegovina at the Shanghai World Expo. Artists presented a fashion show to celebrate, that was full of Mediterranean flavor.
At the Europe plaza near the Bosnia Herzegovina pavilion, for the next three days, artists from the western Balkan Peninsula will take to the stage to show their fashionable sense of fashion.
Accompanied by traditional music, the artists showed off what to wear with a distinct influence from the Mediterranean region.
Their clothes are decorated with prints of scenes of various cities from around the world, although the cuts and silhouettes are none but Bosnia.
If this romantic feel represents a laid back Bosnia Herzegovina, the next segment of the show proves the country isn't short of modern and cutting edge fashion.
Colorful leather comes on display as boots, or an adornment on shoulder. While bright colored socks, chic hats, and oversized bags influence the audience of a modern city beat, and how local people are embracing fashion in their lives.
The fashion show coincides with Bosnia Herzegovina's theme, which is "Whole Country, One City", implying a harmonious co-existence of various ethnic people living in the country.
Seven art troupes, a total of two hundred and fifty artists from Bosnia Herzegovina will perform at Europe plaza in the days to come. A pavilion well worth seeing.
