South Korean President Lee Myung- bak will visit China on Friday to attend the opening ceremony of the Shanghai World Expo, where he will meet with his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao, local media reported Thursday.

Lee will hold a 30-minute summit meeting with Hu during his fifth visit to China, where the two leaders are expected to discuss ways to strengthen strategic partnership, a bilateral free trade pact and the G20 summit of the world's major economies, Yonhap News Agency said.
