With just three days to go until the official opening of the Shanghai World Expo many artistic masterpieces from around the world are arriving in the city. They'll be put on display in the exhibition halls of the Expo Park. Paul Crowe takes a look at these treasures not to be missed by art lovers.

Seven masterpieces on loan from the collections at Musee d'Orsay in Paris were delivered to Shanghai one at a time in seven planes.

They are Jean-Francois Millet's "The Angelus," Edouard Manet's "The Balcony," Paul Cezanne's "Woman with Coffee Pot," Vincent Van Gogh's "The Dance Hall in Arles," Paul Gauguin's "The Bananas," Pierre Bonnard's "The Toilet," and August Rodin's sculpture "The Age of Bronze."

The displays can be seen from May 1st in the first showing of these pieces outside France.

As well as the rare items from France, Luxembourg has unveiled its national treasure to visitors to the Expo. The gilded bronze statue, is usually known by the nickname "Golden Lady". It's part of the Monument of Remembrance in Luxembourg City in the south of the country. The monument, named Gelle Fra, is dedicated to the thousands of Luxembourg citizens who volunteered to serve in the armed forces of the Allied Powers during World War One. The statue will be set upon a three-meter tall steel pedestal at the entrance to the Luxembourg Pavilion at the expo.
