Skateboards, roller-blades and lighters will be banned at the World Expo 2010 site. Water, other drinks and pets will also be prohibited from being brought into the site, according to the Terms and Conditions for Visitors to World Expo 2010 issued by the Expo organizer .
However, necessary medicines, milk for baby and cosmetics will be allowed to the site after security checks at the entrances.
Smoking areas will be set up around the Expo site, where devices for ignition will be provided. Cigarette will be banned at other places at the site.
Visitors are allowed to take pictures or films around the Expo site, but must obey the rules of pavilions or performance venues that may prohibit using flash.
No deposit rooms will be built at the site. But the organizer will give back the lighters or drinks at the entrance when visitors leave the site.
No additional fees will be charged for visitors to enter pavilions or watch performances at the Expo site.
Visitors can reserve at most six pavilions with one ticket, including the China Pavilion or one of the Theme Pavilions along with five foreign pavilions.
Visitors can book either the China Pavilion or one of the five Theme Pavilions at the more than 170 reservation machines installed at 20 locations at the Expo site. Other reservation machines will be installed at the entrance of more than 20 foreign pavilions who rented the machines from the organizer.
Volunteers will help visitors to make reservation.
The organizer recommended visitors first to make reservation for the China Pavilion after entering the Expo site since it is expected to be the most crowded one throughout the six month exposition.
The organizer may conduct necessary health examination on visitors in case of epidemics.
The organizer will provide timely information for visitors on big screens at the Expo site and through more than 1,000 volunteer stations outside the site.
