With the approach of the World Expo 2010, more and more foreign tourists will come to Shanghai. Green Channel Rescue Alliance was established before the 2008 Olympic Games. During the Olympics, the Alliance had received an overall more than 6,000 telephone enquiries, a few dozens of all-in-one green channel services covering pre-hospitalization consulting, advance disbursement, follow-up insurance claim, ensured a full scale off-site medical services, therefore receives appreciation and appraisals from international tourists' agencies and embassies. Based on the success through Olympic Games, the Green Channel Rescue Alliance would once again launch the public-interest "Shanghai World Expo 2010 Off-site Medical Green Channel Rescue Alliance" services.

Shanghai World Expo 2010 Off-site Medical Green Channel Rescue Alliance, supervised by the China Hospital Association Emergency Aid Center (station) administrative committee, hosted by Shanghai Emergency Aid Center and Shanghai Pudong Emergency Aid Center, implemented by green emergency rescue alliance execution body Healthlink Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. , allied with emergency aid centers and network hospitals in 26 cities including Shanghai which located in Yangtze River Delta. Alliance will refer to and implementation of international medical insurance and emergency assistance services and procedures exert the advantages of emergency medical resources, offering the all-in-one seamless green channel medical services such as consulting, advanced disbursement, and assistance in insurance claim, in and out of the venue, to audiences from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and expatriates at the earliest time.

Alliance provides emergency medical protection service at 0:00 on the May 1, 2010 until 24:00 on December 31 (subject to the termination of the Expo). Expatriates only need to dial toll-free hotline: 4008185050 (7 /24) to access to consulting services and advance disbursement for medical expenses. 120 emergency centers are to be connected directly in terms of emergencies. 120 centers, the first-aid medical staff commissioned with ambulance, will be connected with Healthlink receptionist, and the English and Mandarin bilingual emergency aid is provided thereforth.
