As an ambassador of the 2010 World Expo, internationally famous Chinese pianist Lang Lang received an exclusive interview from China Central Television to talk about the upcoming global event in Shanghai.
The young musician has expressed his great hope for more communication among the international community.

Lang Lang said, "As an international metropolis, Shanghai will ride higher and farther because of the event. In such a busy urban life, the world needs more communication, diversity, ideas, relaxation, and harmony. I hope that through the World Expo, people will get some inspiration to build better cities. "
As one of the leading international young pianists, 28-year-old Lang Lang performs on many big occasions in and outside China including the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony and the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. And now, as a World Expo Ambassador, Lang Lang is taking part in more cultural events around the world to promote the event in Shanghai.
Lang expresses that he is lucky to be born in and living in the era of new China. Lang said that Shanghai will act as a window for the world to learn about the country, and even more gracefully on the wings of music.
