The Anhui Pavilion at the World Expo 2010 will display the hui culture of its province.

Visitors will be able to control a virtual writing brush to practice calligraphy on a touch screen fitted to a stone drum. They will also see examples of unique hui-style architecture and be able to use various interactive devices to help them learn more about the cities, economy, culture and sceneries of the province.

"The pavilion will be a magnificent hall of knowledge offering the past, the present and the future of the flourishing province," said Wen Haiying, deputy governor of Anhui Province.

The 240-square-meter pavilion's first surprise will be a laser image of the famed Yellow Mountain Guest-Greeting Pine, at the entrance to welcome visitors.

Visitors will then walk through a tunnel, with Chinese paintings on both sides and videos displaying the rivers and mountains in the province.

At the end of visit, there will be a magic show and everyone will receive bookmarks as souvenirs.

The pavilion launched its exhibition plans along with Hubei Pavilion on January 15. Hubei Pavilion will offer various exhibitions on its culture, history and scientific developments.
