The first session of China (Ningxia) Silk Road Carpet Expo kicked off at the International Conference and Exhibition Center in Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, on June 24. Over 500 exhibitors from both home and abroad will attend the five-day event.

Occupying an area of over 800 square meters, the expo has set up 265 booths, including 185 foreign ones and 80 domestic ones. Most of the products on exhibition are hand knitting carpets made of wool and silk.

Over 200 foreign exhibitors are from Iran, Nepal, India, Turkey and other 11 countries and 300 more domestic exhibitors are from Tibet, Gansu, Shandong, Hebei and Ningxia provinces and autonomous regions. Over 30 professional purchasers from both home and abroad are also invited to attend the expo.
