Li Jianhuan, deputy to the National People’s Congress (NPC) and secretary of CPC Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Committee, said that ecological protection is of priority and the GDP achieved by undermining the environment is never recommended, during the sidelines of the ongoing 4th session of the 12th NPC in Beijing on March 12. Ningxia will carry out ecological protection projects like returning cropland to forest, grazing prohibition and wetland protection, he added.
