A series of activities will be held in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region to celebrate China Tourism Day, which falls on May 19, according to a themed news conference on May 12.

With a theme of “New Tourism under a New Normal,” the activity will send out 5,000 tickets for Ningxia scenic spots for free and a great number of tourism souvenirs to local citizens. Nearly 20 renowned tourism sites, including the Sand Lake, Shapotou District, Zhenbeipu Western Film Town, Liupanshan Mountain Forest Park, and Huoshizhai Geological Park, will all release preferential measures to give more access to tourists from May 19 to October 31.

Online activities will also be held on the platform of Internet and We-chat to facilitate visitors to join the activity on the festival.
