A China-Arab States Free Trade Zone should be established in the city of Yinchuan, provincial capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, to facilitate Ningxia to fully participate in the “Belt and Road” initiatives, proposed Dang Yanbao, a CPPCC delegate and the board chairman of Ningxia Baofeng Group when he attending the third session of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in Beijing on March 13.
With the advancing of the “Belt and Road” initiatives, the construction of the free trade zone will greatly boost the career, said Dang. “The establishment of the China-Arab States Free Trade Zone in Yinchuan will add a new channel for China’s westward opening-up process,” he said. It will give full play to the “bridgehead” role of Yinchuan in westward opening-up and build up a platform to facilitate cooperation between China and the Arab States, he added.
Yinchuan should be oriented towards becoming the hub of China-Arab States Aerial Silk Road, the China-Arab States Internet Economic Center and the core area of China-Arab States financial cooperation, he said.
