The 5th China (Ningxia) Horticulture Expo will be held in the city of Yinchuan from August 10 to August 14, according to a themed conference held on June 3.

Serving as a broad platform for horticultural exhibition and sales, the expo will open several exhibition areas in the Ningxia Horticulture Industrial Park, including the comprehensive sector, scientific and technological sector, horticultural equipment sector, leading enterprises’ agricultural products exhibition sector and Ningxia specialties exhibition center.

Businessmen and sales managers from different leading agricultural enterprises and large-scale whole-sale markets will take part in the event to facilitate the sales of agricultural products. In addition, scientists and academicians from renowned agricultural institutes and research centers will also attend the expo to have discussions on modern agricultural development, horticultural technology and management, agricultural products processing and so on.

In addition, a series of celebratory activities featuring Ningxia specialties such as celery, Chinese wolfberries and dates, will take place from June to September.
