A total of 124 contracts were signed during the 3rd China-Arab States Economic and Trade Forum, with an investment volume totaling at 218.7 billion yuan (US$ 34,642,080,000), according to the statistics released from the signing ceremony.
The projects crossing the 1 billion yuan, 5 billion yuan and 10 billion yuan lines, each come to a total of 40, 12 and 3, respectively.
The signed contracts mainly cover new and high-tech, energy and chemical, modern agriculture, infrastructure, logistics, trade and cultural tourism sectors with energy and chemical engineering projects accounting for the largest percentage of the total number and investment volume.
