The 10th annual Rare Stone Fair is slated to kick off on May 30 in Yinchuan, the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, according to a recent news briefing held by the municipal government and the autonomous region's tourist administration.
A tourist commodities expo will be also held during the 12-day event. The fair features a display of rare stones and boutique tourist commodities covering 1,000 square meters with 500 booths for stone trades.
The fair is expected to attract the participation of 3,000 people from stone collecting associations in 11 provinces and regions, northwestern tourism association members, Yinchuan's key tourist commodity manufacturers and rare stone collectors from over the country.
