An integration of chateau and tourism will help open up a new tourism sector and form a positive ecological cycle as well, said Yue Taihe, head of Xixia District Garden Bureau of Yinchuan, capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
The district is scheduled to build 10 featured chateaus and grow 233 hectares of grapes by the end of this year. Four of them have been put into production.
This year, the district also plans to launch construction of a wine culture exhibition center, a winery town along the east stretch of Helan Mountain and a film and TV town themed on grapes.
