The project of constructing a railway from Yinchuan to Xi'an will receive US$ 200 million from World Bank loan, according to the national development and reform committee’s planning on projects eligible to use World Bank loan during 2012 -2014.

The railway project won approval this year. The high-speed railway runs 595 kilometers in total to connect west China with central and south China.
