China Mengniu Dairy (2319.HK) has completed the construction of its first production base in Ningxia province, reports China Securities Journal.

The base, located in the province's Yinchuan city, covers an area of 130,000 square meters and costs 420 million yuan.

The base will mainly produce milk from the Telunsu line, milk for infants and other types of high-end milk products.

It has nine production lines imported from Sweden, with daily capacity of 900 tons.
