Yinchuan will hold an international conference on China-Arab business opportunities from Sept. 21 to 25, the State Council Information Office said last week in a statement on its Web site.
The conference, which will include a trade fair, economics forum and art fair, will be put on by the Ningxia regional government, the Ministry of Commerce and the China Committee for the Promotion of International Trade. The event is expected to serve as a platform for officials, entrepreneurs and scholars from the two regions to better exchange advice and opinions on interregional business.
The threefold conference will include the 2011 China (Ningxia) International Investment & Trade Fair, the Second China-Arab States Economics and Trade Forum, and the China-Arab States Culture and Arts Festival. Breakout sessions will include an International Energy Cooperation Forum and a College and University Forum.
