Starting March 21, driver's license candidates in Yinchuan became required to undergo a minimum of four hours of practical driving activities prior to taking the driving test, according to the traffic management authority of Yinchuan, capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

The city took this measure to strengthen drivers’ knowledge and skills. After successfully completing the new course, candidates are eligible to take the driving test.
