Situated on the eastern slope of Xiakou Mountain in the west reservoir district of Qingtongxia Dam, 76 kilometers from Yinchuan City, the 108 Dagobas (青铜峡108塔) form a rarely-seen large group. The exact year of construction is unknown. They are scattered following the curve of the mountains in an odd order in 12 rows to form an equilateral triangle, and the top one is the largest one, while the others diminish in size, layer by layer. All dagobas consists of three parts: pedestal, body and ornamentation decorating the upper. Buddhists think that there are 108 kinds of worries in people's life so that a devout person will wear a rosary with 108 beads and say prayers 108 times. It is said that tourists will forget their worries and get lucky if they pray in front of the 108 Dagobas. Tips: Students can get 50 percent discount.
