The largest butterfly garden in Asia, located in north Beijing's Shunyi District, contains 30 breeds of butterflies, more than ten of which are listed as state-protected species. Butterflies from tropical and subtropical zones can be seen in the four-season glasshouse, while chrysalises transform into butterflies in the breeding workhouse. The garden also features interactive zones, where children can play with butterflies and learn how to make paintings of their wings. [China.org.cn]
