The largest butterfly garden in Asia, located in north Beijing's Shunyi District, contains 30 breeds of butterflies, more than ten of which are listed as state-protected species. Butterflies from tropical and subtropical zones can be seen in the four-season glasshouse, while chrysalises transform into butterflies in the breeding workhouse.
