Photo taken on Nov. 22, 2011 shows the waterway of the Wuzhong section of the Yellow River in northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Since 2008, Ningxia has carried out a multi-functional project focusing on the development of traffic, ecology, economy and flood prevention for the cities along the Yellow River. By the end of last month, the operating rate of the project has reached over 95 percent of the 157 key programs with a total investment of 26 billion RMB yuan (about 4 billion U.S. dollars).
