Since 2008, Ningxia has carried out a multi-functional project focusing on the development of traffic, ecology, economy and flood prevention for the cities along the Yellow River. By the end of last month, the operating rate of the project has reached over 95 percent of the 157 key programs with a total investment of 26 billion RMB yuan (about 4 billion U.S. dollars).
