Day 11 and, as I wipe away a single tear, we come to my final blog post. I can emphatically say that I never used their services. I mean, I can't even order a meal from a restaurant menu so god-knows who would arrive at my hotel door – okay, I guess you're here now. We can just turn the lights off, tuck that between your legs and pretend you are female...

On that note, it is safe to say that China has certainly been full of surprises. I hope that my blog posts have shared a few of the slightly more curious ones with you. Writing this blog each day has allowed me to immediately share my experiences, thoughts and observations with friends and made them all that little bit more special. I thank you.

I hope that one of the comments left beneath my posts wins one of you the opportunity to visit China. You can discover for yourself this magnificent land of contrast, beauty and history. It will certainly present you with memories and moments that you will lock in your heart.

I still have some packing to do and the flight won't wait for one man, so this is Asa signing off. It has been a pleasure.

Chengdu, over and out.
