Foshan city, Guangdong Province

Foshan is a national historical and cultural city in China. As early as four thousand years ago, the ancient Baiyue People once fished and made potteries there. It is compared to a window or a thick book of Lingnan culture. There are many well-preserved historic interests, such as the ancient temples, Liang Garden, Confucius Temple, Renshou Temple, Shiwan Nanfeng ancient kiln, Xishan Temple and Linggui Pagoda.

If tired with the traditional ways of celebrating the Chinese New Year which focuses mainly on "eating", you are suggested to spend it by sports. Foshan is the best choice as it is also the home town of Chinese martial art (Wushu). The famous Hong Boxing, Yongchun Boxing and Caili Buddha Boxing are based in Foshan. Today there are many martial art schools and boxing schools opened by the successors of famous martial masters in the city. Visitors can fully experience the extensive and profound culture of Chinese Wushu.
